Naomichi Uramoto won both Saturday and Sunday’s races in the JSB1000 class MOTEGI, Round 4 of the MFJ All Japan Road Race Championship Series, from Friday, August 22nd to Sunday, August 24th, 2025.
For the Auto Race Ube Racing Team, which will compete in the championship from 2022 and in the JSB1000 class from 2023, this marks our first victory in the fourth year since establishment and our third season in the JSB1000. It also marks the first time in history that a BMW motorcycle has won the JSB1000, the highest class in MFJ All Japan Road Race Championship.
This is also the first JSB1000 victory for Naomichi Uramoto, who has competed in JSB1000 as our team’s ace rider since this season. Although he missed out on pole position in qualifying, he took the lead in both final races and won by a big margin over the runner-up rider. Uramoto also recorded the fastest lap in both races.
In the All Japan Road Race JSB1000 class, Naomichi Uramoto (AutoRace Ube Racing Team) is currently ranked second. However, as we announced, we will be competing in the FIM Endurance World Championship “Bol d’Or 24 Hours” (in France) on September 20-21, so he will miss the JSB1000 races in Round 5 at Autopolis (two-race format) and Round 6 at Okayama International Circuit.
After returning from our trip to France, we will compete in the JSB1000 final round, the “MFJ Grand Prix” (Suzuka Circuit, October 25-26), so please keep supporting us.
