At the 46th Running “Coca-Cola” Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Road Race, held at Suzuka Circuit from Friday, August 1st to Sunday, August 3rd, 2025, the #76 AutoRace Ube Racing Team (AutoRace Ube Racing Team / BMW M1000RR) finished in 6th place.
Despite a last-minute rider change and a flurry of preparations, Naomichi Uramoto put in a performance that rivaled the world’s top riders in qualifying and the Top 10 Trial, securing the team’s highest-ever third-place grid position. We demonstrated our speed to the world.
In the final race, Naomichi Uramoto, Loris Baz, and Davey Todd all gave it their all, battling for 5th place with the BMW factory team, the #37 BMW MOTORRAD WORLD ENDURANCE TEAM. As this was the first 8-hour endurance race as a BMW customer team, we didn’t have any data to work with, but we managed to finish in 6th place.
The AutoRace Ube Racing Team received tremendous support from all over the world at the Suzuka 8 Hours, including from countless fans and those watching on television. Thank you for your support.
The team will now move on to preparations for Round 4 of the MFJ All-Japan Road Race Championship JSB1000, to be held at Mobility Resort Motegi on August 23rd and 24th, and for their first appearance in Round 4 of the FIM Endurance World Championship, the Bol d’Or 24 Hours (Paul Richard Circuit, France) in September. We hope you will continue to support the team as we look forward to our first-ever victory.
