ボルドール24時間レース 参戦体制について
「オートレース宇部 Racing Team」はFIM世界耐久選手権・第4戦「ボルドール24時間耐久レース」（ポールリカールサーキット／フランス）に参戦します。
今回のボルドール参戦は「オートレース宇部 Racing Team」にとって初めての海外遠征となり、将来的なFIM世界耐久選手権へのフル参戦に向けた重要なステップです。マシンは国内のJSB1000クラスで2連勝したBMW M1000RRで、優勝したマシンをそのままヨーロッパに空輸して24時間耐久レースに挑みます。
初挑戦となる2025年「ボルドール24時間耐久レース」のライダーはJSB1000クラスで2連勝を飾った浦本修充（うらもと・なおみち）。2025年鈴鹿8耐でチームに加入したロリス・バズ（フランス）。そして新加入となるのはIDMドイツスーパーバイク選手権のライダーで、2025年鈴鹿8耐でスーパーストッククラス2位表彰台を獲得したレアンドロ・メルカド（アルゼンチン）です。
エースライダーの浦本修充は鈴鹿8耐でMotoGPやスーパーバイク世界選手権のトップライダーたちに迫る速さを披露。好調を維持したまま、8月の全日本ロードレース選手権・第4戦もてぎではJSB1000クラスで2連勝を飾りました。ボルドールには2019年に出場した経験を持ちます。
鈴鹿8耐を共に闘ったロリス・バズはFIMスーパーバイク世界選手権に200戦以上出場し、MotoGPにも参戦した経験を持つワールドクラスのライダーです。BMWでのレース経験が豊富なだけでなく、2013年にはSRC Kawasakiからボルドールに出場し総合優勝を達成しています。
アルゼンチン出身のレアンドロ・メルカドはFIMスーパーバイク世界選手権に200戦近く出場しているだけでなく、昨年までHONDA VILTAIS RACINGからFIM世界耐久選手権に参戦していました。2023年のボルドールでは2位表彰台を獲得しています。
チームとしては初挑戦のレースになりますが、この過酷な耐久レースで実績を残してきた2人のライダーを迎え入れ、表彰台を目指します。

Riders Confirmed for Bol d’Or 2025
We are pleased to announce that the Auto Race Ube Racing Team, operated by James Racing Co., Ltd. will be competing in the 88th ”Bol d’Or“, the final round of the FIM Endurance World Championship（FIM EWC) in 2025.
It’s the first time for the Auto Race Ube Racing Team to contest 24 hours endurance race, and to race in foreign countries. It will be a very important step towards a full participation of FIM EWC in the future. The team will bring 2024 BMW M1000RR, which has won two races in the MFJ JSB1000, to Paul Ricard Circuit.
The riders for their first appearance at the 2025 Bol d’Or will be Naomichi Uramoto, who has achieved two consecutive victories in MFJ JSB1000. Loris Baz (France), who joined the team at the 2025 Suzuka 8 Hours. The team will also be new recruits, including Leandro Mercado (Argentina), an IDM Superbike rider who achieved a second-place podium finish in the Superstock class at the 2025 Suzuka 8 Hours.
At the Suzuka 8 Hours, our regular rider Naomichi Uramoto showed his amazing speed approaching those of the top riders in MotoGP and WSBK. Just after Suzuka 8 Hours, he took his second consecutive victory in MFJ JSB1000 at Motegi in August. He has competed in the Bol d’Or in 2019.
Loris Baz, who competed alongside Uramoto and Davey Todd at the Suzuka 8 Hours, is a world-class rider with over 200 FIM WSBK races and MotoGP experience. Not only does he have racing experience with BMW, but he also won the Bol d’Or in 2013 with SRC Kawasaki.
Argentine rider Leandro Mercado has competed in nearly 200 FIM Superbike World Championship races, and he competed in the FIM EWC with Honda Viltais Racing until last year. He achieved a second-place podium finish at the 2023 Bol d’Or.
This will be the team’s first 24 hours endurance race, but Baz and Mercado has a lot of experiences in endurance racing, so the team will be aiming for the podium.
